TUESDAY at 9am: Workers to speak on secure scheduling policy proposal ahead of key City Council committee hearing

Workers and community leaders will hold a City Hall press conference on the secure scheduling policies proposed by Mayor Murray, Councilmember Herbold, and Councilmember Gonzalez, just prior to a key City Council hearing where details of the proposals are set to be discussed.

Who: Coffee, fast food, and retail workers, along with community leaders and other supporters of secure scheduling

What: Speak on secure scheduling policies released by Mayor Murray, Councilmember Herbold, and Councilmember Gonzalez, ahead of key hearing where policy will be discussed

When9:00am, TODAY — Tuesday, August 9, 2016. (The event will conclude before the hearing is set to begin at 9:30am.)

Where: Seattle City Hall, hallway outside Council Chambers, 600 4th Ave
