We stand against hateful, invasive attacks on Somali child care workers

We refuse to live in a world in which groups of immigrant workers, one after another, are harassed, attacked, and targeted by violence. Somali child care providers whose work sustains families across our state are the newest target of a hateful regime hellbent on scapegoating immigrants and undermining worker power. But worker power changes everything and it WILL unravel racist fearmongering, expose lies, and unseat xenophobic leaders. Working Washington stands with Somali workers and ALL workers in the ongoing fight to build the safe, peaceful, and dignified communities we deserve.

Be part of the fight and be part of the solution. Report hate at https://www.atg.wa.gov/report-hate or call the Hate Crimes & Bias Incidents Hotline (1-855-225-1010) staffed by trauma-informed operators from 9am to 5pm Pacific time, Monday-Friday, with access to interpretation in over 240 languages.

And get organized. Join us to build power with other workers across industries challenging the hateful and pro-corporate influences that we refuse to let shape our world.
