Martin Luther King Jr fought for good jobs for all.

Working Washington January 8, 2013

We will be participating in the annual Martin Luther King Jr birthday celebration and march again this year in Seattle. We will be leading a workshop alongside Jobs for All about the need for good jobs in the community--especially for people of color, immigrants and other working folks who don't always get a fair shake in this economy. The workshops and march attracts thousands of people a year — it's one of the biggest MLK Day events in the country — and we are honored to be trusted with a workshop.

We'd love to see you there.

Our vision is a state where everyone shares in the prosperity we create together: a place where all workers are treated with dignity, paid enough to support themselves, and able to participate in a thriving community.

Now we’re asking supporters to step up to become members of Working Washington.
